Free tools and press pages
The age rating helper, store page checker, press kit generator and COPPA and GDPR checklist, and how to publish a press page.
Mis à jour le nov. 3, 2026 · Cet article est en anglais.
The tools are free, need no account, and run in your browser. What you type stays on your device unless you choose to publish a press page.
Age rating helper
Answer questions about violence, sexual content, language, fear, gambling and more. You get an estimated category in ESRB, PEGI and USK styles, the labels you will probably need to disclose, and how the game fits our content policy. It is guidance, not an official rating: only the rating boards decide a real one, and for most stores the official route is the IARC questionnaire. Open it.
Store page readiness checker
Choose your store images and we read their sizes in your browser (nothing is uploaded). Tick off the rest of the checklist for Steam or itch.io and get a score, a verdict and a to-do list. It also checks that your itch.io theme colors are readable. Download the report as Markdown. Store requirements change, so confirm sizes in Steamworks or on itch.io. Open it.
Press kit generator
Fill in a form about your game and get a clean press page and a fact sheet to send to streamers and journalists. Download the page, host it anywhere, and put one link in your emails. It saves your answers on this device, and has an example to fill in. Open it.
Publish a shareable page
With a verified email, you can publish the press page on indiedev.games at a public link. We store what you publish. It is not listed in search engines, and anyone can report it. Update or delete it from your dashboard under Your press pages. You can always download it and host it yourself instead.
COPPA and GDPR checklist
A checklist of children's-privacy steps for games on Steam, itch.io or the web, which you can filter by audience, region and platform. Tick items off (saved in your browser) and download the result. It is general guidance, not legal advice. Open it.

Each tool has a guide that explains the topic in plain language. See the guides.
