Add a game: details and images

What to fill in for a new game: text, tags, engine, AI disclosure, window size and pictures.

Mis à jour le nov. 3, 2026 · Cet article est en anglais.

Add a game from your dashboard with + Add a game. You start with the basics, then upload the game itself on the next page. Nothing is public until you publish a build. See Upload and publish a build.

The details

  • Title (up to 100 characters) and tagline (up to 160). The title decides the game's web address, which you can change later: see Changing a game's address.
  • About the game. Markdown, up to 5,000 characters, with a preview tab.
  • Age label. Everyone, Everyone 10 and up or Teen (13 and up). Be honest: it is checked when you publish. The age rating helper estimates it for you.
  • Tags. Choose up to 5 from the fixed list (genre, mood and theme, how you play). Players use them to find the game, and each tag has its own page.
  • Made with. Choose up to 3 engines or tools. Players and developers can filter by engine.
  • Generative AI. You must say whether the game contains output from generative AI, and if so which kinds: graphics, sounds, or text and dialog. Players see it on the game page.
  • Other answers. Whether the game collects data, is aimed at children under 13, saves progress automatically, and whether this is the official release page. Claiming a game that is not yours breaks the content policy.
  • Comments and reviews. See Review and comment settings.
  • Size of the game window. Width 320 to 1,920 pixels and height 240 to 1,080. Players on smaller screens see it scaled down in the same shape.

Pictures

All pictures are JPG, PNG or WebP, and we remove hidden photo data such as location.

Picture Minimum size Largest file Notes
Icon 128 x 128 2 MB Square works best
Cover image 640 x 360 4 MB Cropped to 16:9. Shown on game cards
Banner 1000 x 300 4 MB Cropped to 16:5. Shown across the top of the game page and in link previews
Screenshots 320 x 180 5 MB each Up to 6. Scaled down, never cropped

On a saved game, a picture you choose is uploaded straight away, so you do not need to press Save for it. You can reorder screenshots, add captions and remove them.

A brief for your AI assistant

If you use an AI assistant to help write the page, press Copy brief for AI (Markdown). It copies everything the site needs: the text fields, every picture size, the tags, the build rules and the content rules. Copy image requirements only copies just the picture sizes.

Before it goes live

Before a build can be published, the game needs a description, an age label and an answer to the AI question. The edit page lists what is still missing.
