Review and comment settings
Turn reviews and comments on or off for a game, and limit reviews to people you invite.

Each game has its own settings for comments and reviews, under Game details on its edit page.
Comments
- Allow comments on this game is on by default. If you turn it off, nobody can add new comments or replies. Comments already there stay, and you can still delete them.
- Your team gets an email about new comments (each person can turn that off), and you can reply as the studio. See Comments.
- A news or devlog post has its own Allow comments box in the post form. Untick it to close the comments on that post. Comments already there stay.
Reviews
- Allow reviews of this game is on by default. If you turn it off, nobody can add new reviews. Reviews already there stay.
- Who can review. The default is any player with a verified account that is at least a day old. Choose Only people I invite to limit reviews to people you name.
Invite people to review
When a game is invitation only, open Review invitations on its edit page:
- Enter a username and press Invite. They need a verified account that is not suspended, and they cannot be on the game's team. You can invite up to 100 people.
- If the game is live, they are emailed. If it is not live yet, they can review once it is, but they are not emailed before then, so tell them yourself.
- Remove someone at any time. Reviews they already wrote stay.
Invited reviewers skip the one-day account wait. Their reviews carry an Invited reviewer badge, so readers know you chose them, and they count in the ratings like any other review. A moderator can still hide a review that breaks the rules.
Your team cannot review its own game.
