Comments

Comment on a studio, a game or a news post, reply to others, and what the rules are.

Updated Nov 3, 2026

Studio pages, game pages and published news and devlog posts have a comment section at the bottom.

Who can comment

You need to be logged in with a verified email address. Studios, game teams and the writers of a post can turn comments off, in which case the section says so and nobody can add new comments or replies. Comments already there stay.

Writing

  • Comments are plain text, up to 2,000 characters.
  • A comment can have at most 2 links.
  • You can reply to a comment. Replies sit under the comment they answer.
  • You can delete your own comments at any time.
  • Be kind. Comments follow the content policy.

Commenting as a studio

If you are on a studio's team, you can comment as the studio. The page then shows the studio, not your username. The studio, its team and our moderators can see which account wrote it.

Emails about comments

People on a studio's team get an email when someone comments on the studio or its games, and you get one when someone replies to your comment. To keep your inbox calm there is at most one email of each kind every half hour, and none for what you write yourself. You can turn them off in your account settings. See Emails we send.

Problems

Use the Report link under a comment. See Reporting content.
