Use the site in English, French or Japanese, how to switch, and what is and is not translated.
Mis à jour le nov. 3, 2026 · Cet article est en anglais.
indiedev.games is available in English, French (Français) and Japanese (日本語).
How to switch
- Visitors. Use the language links at the bottom of every page. They open the same page, with the same filters, in the other language.
- Members. Choose your language in account settings, in the Language section. After you save, you land on your settings in that language. When you are logged in and open the English home page, the site takes you to the home page in your language.
English pages have no prefix (/games). French pages start with /fr (/fr/games) and Japanese pages with /ja (/ja/games). Links you follow stay in your language.
What is translated
The menus, buttons, forms, messages and the pages of the site: games, studios, news, reviews, comments, your account, the dashboard, the contact and report forms, the tools, and the emails we send you (in the language you chose in your settings).
What is not translated
- What people write. Game titles and descriptions, studio pages, devlog posts, comments and reviews stay in the language they were written in.
- The guides, the help articles and the legal pages (content policy, privacy policy and terms) are in English.
- The RSS feeds and the files you download from the tools are in English.
- The admin screens are English only.
