Public dataset and listings

Studio and game pages may include names, descriptions, logos, links, and career postings imported from public sources or submitted by authorized representatives. Information published on a studio or game page is visible to everyone. Report previews may use illustrative data until live cross-platform matching is complete.

News items, store links, and external studio links point to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. State of Indie reports reference public data from platforms such as itch.io, Steam, Google Play, and IGDB; those platforms have their own policies. We use infrastructure providers (hosting, email, storage) to run the site; they process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Data retention
