Introducing 10k Arcade: Quick Pixel Games, Endless Replays
Today we're launching 10k Arcade, a new label inside 10k Game Studio for short-session pixel-art games.
Why a label?
Most of what we build at 10k Game Studio is deep: story-driven RPGs, tactical battles, long-running worlds. But some of our best-loved projects are the small ones, the games you open for five minutes and then replay for an hour.
Rather than mix the two on one shelf, we're giving them a home of their own. What decides the label is scope and play style, not engine: short sessions, pixel art, and a clear core loop.
What's in 10k Arcade at launch
- GemStrike (Defold): a Bejeweled-style match-3. Swap gems on an 8×8 grid, chain cascades, and hit the score target before you run out of moves.
- CrystalMines (Godot 4): pixel-art Minesweeper on a 9×9 cave grid. The first click is always safe; after that, one wrong tap ends the run.
Both are free and play right in your browser.
Where to play
You can play both on our indiedev.games studio page, or find them on the new arcade hub at 10kgame.studio/arcade. They're also on itch.io.
What's next
More arcade games will land here over time, and we'll post each one on this studio page. If you have a favourite kind of quick game you'd like to see, tell us in the comments.
Thanks for playing,
10k Game Studio
